This page sets out the safety information required by Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR), which applies to distance selling within the European Union from 13 December 2024.

3. Intended use

A hand and face hygiene wipe for table service and hospitality use. It is activated by pouring water — cold, hot or scented — or any other suitable liquid onto the compressed tablet, which unfolds to its full size.

The product is not intended for medical, disinfectant or cosmetic use. It is not a substitute for hand sanitiser.

4. Warnings and safe use instructions

Single-use product. Do not reuse.
Keep out of reach of children under 3: before it expands, the compressed tablet is a size that can present a choking hazard.
External use only. Do not swallow.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water.
Stop using it if any skin reaction occurs and consult a healthcare professional.
When activating the wipe with hot water, check the temperature before handing it to the guest to avoid burns.
Store in a dry place, away from damp and direct sunlight. Ambient humidity can activate the tablet prematurely.
Do not use the product if the packaging is open, damaged or wet.

5. Disposal

The wipe is biodegradable and compostable: after use it goes in the organic waste bin. The cardboard packaging goes in the paper and card bin. In all cases, follow your local waste rules.

6. Reporting safety incidents

If you notice any safety problem with our products, report it to hola@oionatura.com quoting the reference, the batch and a description of the incident. We investigate every report and, where appropriate, notify the competent authorities through the European Commission’s Safety Business Gateway.
