Everything worth knowing before your first order
They are wipes made from eco-friendly natural viscose, 100% biodegradable and hypoallergenic, pressed into a tablet. Add water and they expand into a full 23 × 23 cm wipe, ready for table service in hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, spas and premium venues.
With cold water, hot water or any other liquid. Also with OIO scented water vials (ylang-ylang or lemon). Place the tablet on its holder, pour a little liquid in front of the guest and the wipe unfolds instantly.
Yes. They are made from 100% biodegradable, compostable natural viscose, with no plastic and no microplastics. After use they go in the organic waste bin.
Between 3 and 5 years, which is the standard manufacturing guarantee. Sealed and kept away from damp they last considerably longer without losing their properties. The only real risk is extreme humidity or a water leak, which would make them expand early: keep them somewhere dry and you will have no trouble.
As a single-use wipe, a few hours. It expands with clean water alone and contains no chemical preservatives, so left out in the open all day it starts to pick up airborne bacteria. Although they are designed for single use, the 100% natural high-strength viscose means they can be rinsed, wrung out and reused for light cleaning between 4 and 10 times before the fibres give way.
Between 4 and 6 weeks to break down completely in soil or compost, being 100% viscose of natural origin. For comparison: a wipe containing plastic fibres can take more than 100 years.
Yes. They are hypoallergenic and contain no harsh chemicals, so they suit sensitive skin and daily use in hospitality.
It depends on tables, guests and sittings. As a guide: a venue with 10 tables, 2 guests and 2 sittings, open 6 days a week, uses around 40 wipes a day, roughly 1,040 a month. There is a calculator on the site that tells you the most economical combination of boxes for your volume and emails you before you run out.
Boxes of 60, 200 and 400 wipes, and complete packs of 400 and 800 wipes with a bamboo or black ceramic holder (duo for 2 services, quad for 4). We also sell holders, scented water vials and empty glass vials separately.
